TRAINING & COMPETITIONS
AS A PART OF THE GR YEAR ROUND TRAINING, THE PARTICIPATION IN THE USA SANCTIONED MEETS (two and/or three days) IS EXPECTED BY ALL
GOLD, BLUE, WHITE, AND HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS’ SWIMMERS.
DURING THE USA SANCTIONED MEETS (two and/or three days), WE WILL NOT RUN THE WORKOUTS.
DURING THE WMSL SEASON (December-February & June-July), THE GREEN & STROKE GROUPS WILL NOT HAVE WORKOUTS ON DAYS OF WMSL MEETS.

IMPORTANT INFO ON LIGHTNING & SEVERE WEATHER
By the Grand Rapids Public Schools district's policy, in the event of severe weather/lightning, we will clear the pool and cancel or delay any GNRSA activities. The GR Aquatics coaching staff will do the best to communicate as quickly as possible by web, email, phone, etc. to inform all GRNSA families of any changes or cancellations in GR Aquatics schedule.
In the case of sudden changes in weather such as thundering and lightning, we encourage you to monitor the weather via web and public media, then do your best to decide what is reasonable (we will always be closed during a tornado warning).
Due to the busy schedule of the GR coaching staff (time spent coaching on the deck and inside the pool area), we are not always able to monitor the weather. We use the phones and computer ONLY in between practice sessions or in the case of an emergency. Thank you for understanding and for your support.
